Memorial Day Weekend

We traveled up to Chapin for Memorial Day weekend to have some fun in the sun.  Lily became a little fish (life vest supported) and did not want to get out of the water.

       Sarah Ellen on the other hand was content to play in the small pool and sand for hours on end (she doesn’t just look like me).    Sarah Ellen did, however, have a great time riding the wave runner with Daddy.  Not only are Neita and Sheri the most caring, loving and helpful neighbors to my parents, they have GREAT toys.   Picnic lunch outside.  Why do sandwiches taste better outside?   Lily didn’t seem to enjoy the wave runner quite as much as Sarah Ellen.

We had a fabulous weekend at Mimi and Papa’s. 

Little Girl Laughs

Day Trip to Pinopolis

Molly, Thomas and Parker invited the girls and me out to Pinopolis to enjoy a day on the lake.  Molly grew up in Pinopolis and her parents live on a beautiful stretch of land on Lake Moultrie.  It was fun to see where my friend grew up and the various places where she spent her childhood.  The kids had a blast and played HARD for hours.

End of the Year Programs

Strawberry Picking

Both girls had a field trip to pick strawberries.  This was the first time for all of us and we had a great time. 

    Lily and Sarah Ellen are the ones in the orange hats.    Sarah Ellen just couldn’t wait.    Olivia and Sarah Ellen were very proud of their loot.
