Camping With Daddy
I don’t know many daddies out there that will pack up his two small girls and whisk them away for a camping adventure. Well, my girls are blessed to have one. James and Trey took the kids down to Hunting Island for a night of real camping – tents, smores, hikes, raccoons and all. I heard some fantastic stories upon their return.
I am so glad that my girls love to share this hobby with their daddy.

Knitting Gone Bad
With each new project I start, the girls always ask, “Mamma is that for me.” Admittedly, I now spend too much time knitting for others than I do for my own girls. So, I had this fantastic idea to knit their Easter dresses this year. I could just imagine them at church excited to be wearing new dresses that their mamma had made just for them.
I found a cute pattern and had the softest yarn and began knitting away. I usually knit hats or mittens that don’t’ take very long, but not for my girls, I was going to knit dresses.
I finally finished, and couldn’t wait to try it on. It was horrible! It was horrible and could not be salvaged. Two weeks of work and visions of my girls in dresses made by me – unraveled LINE BY LINE.
While I realize this is not the best advertising for my business, I fully blame the pattern!

Piggy Chiggy Park
That is what the girls have named the small park in our rental neighborhood. They love afternoon trips down there and have a blast with each other.
