The majority of our days was spent splashing in the waves and digging in the sand.

I believe Sarah Ellen’s Benadryl was kicking in.
No worries, the incoming rush of water sure woke her up.

Whoa, where did James find the light socket out on the beach!
Evidently, Olivia found it too.

Pawley’s Beach Fun

Creek Float
One afternoon, we loaded up for a creek float. Waiting for the tide to come in, we piled in the Smith’s van and headed for the inlet. Can you guess how many we fit into one van? ALL 17 OF US!!. When I say we piled in, I mean literally.Alison, you got room for one more?
James and Allan both rode standing on the sides holding the rafts on top. Caroline and I rode in the back holding on to rafts and keeping children in the car. I watched the people in the car behind us laugh at how we must have looked. Then I watched their faces turn to astonishment as we unloaded. Children just kept on coming.
Once we precariously made it to the inlet, we hopped on floats and let the tide take us back to our dock.
Just another great thing about Pawley’s.
