Oh to Clemson we go. I owe a big thank you to Hurricane Hanna for not ruining our plans to go to the Clemson/Citadel game last weekend. It has been four years since I was last at Clemson - way too long. I forgot how beautiful it is up there. We tailgated in the blazing heat with some of James' classmates from the Citadel and some of my family members. Thank you to everyone for letting me get into the stadium in time to see the Tigers run down the hill. I'm afraid I cut some of the visiting short, but I just couldn't miss the most exciting 30 seconds in college football.
James talking with my cousin AshleyAnne. I remember holding her as a newborn and now she is a Sophomore at Clemson. Her dad, to the left of James, is my older cousin and a Clemson grad. They had a great tailgating spot in the shade. Thanks guys for having us.
James with Joe, his friend from high school and Citadel roommate. We missed you Stacey (she was home with their girls in Virginia and they happened to get 7 inches of rain that day - I think Joe may owe her one for that). James and Joe were two little specks of blue in a sea of orange, but they weren't afraid to make some noise for their team.
I probably should have remembered the sunscreen, huh?
Tripp, Angie, and Joe. We left the game a little early and ended the day with a meal at Outback. Weight Watchers went out the door for the day. Who can pass up cheese fries and tailgate food? I'm just not that strong.
James and I had a wonderful day catching up with old friends, visiting with family, being in Clemson, and watching college football. Fall is almost here!!!!!!
