I have been couponing for about four weeks and I amazed at the amount of money we have been saving. Today was my first triple coupon event at Harris Teeter, and what an event it was. You can only use 20 coupons per day so I really had to plan out how to best use my coupons. Here is what I got:
- 2 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios
- 1 can of Betty Crocker frosting
- 1 can of baking powder
- 1 bottle of marinade
- 2 cans of green chiles
- 1 bottle of French's mustard
- 1 bottle of French's spicy mustard
- 1 box of Hungry Jack pancake mix
- 2 taco seasoning packets
- 2 cans of black-eyed peas
- 2 tubes of Colgate toothpaste
- 1 Loreal kids shampoo
- 4 cans of Pillsbury biscuits
- 1 package of Smithfield bacon
Okay, everyone must now guess at how much I paid for these items. I'll post the answer later...

I don't even want to venture a guess because it will make me jealous. I am heading over for my lesson in "couponing" soon!!
I am guessing you did much better than I did this morning. Did you get all that for around $12? I got $80 worth of stuff for around $40. Some of it was stuff that I needed, but didn't have coupons for.
Isn't is such a feeling of accomplishment. Only been couponing for a couple of months, ever since I saw Oprah and the Coupon Mom. I need to take some tips from you...I am going to venture and say you spent less than $20.
I had so much fun q-ing :)
Good work...I know the answer and y'all are all way over!!!!
T, knowing you, I bet they paid you!:-) donna
