Spray and Play

For Mommy and Me on Thursday we ventured to Spray and Play at James Island County Park.  Most children love the huge fountains spraying endless amounts of water everywhere.  Lily, however, is my child and was very wary of the water.  She mostly enjoyed splashing in the puddles on the sidelines and blowing bubbles.

Stroller buddies.  I can’t wait to see what Sarah Ellen will do at Spray and Play as she grows.  Will she splash in the puddles or go barreling through the center of the fountain?  I’m going to make a prediction that we will have a hard time getting this one out of the water.Lily may have looked like she had fun in the fountains because she was soaking wet, but that was from laying in the puddles.  It doesn’t really matter how she got wet, just that she had fun doing it.  Bathing beauties. Of course, after I had dressed Lily to go home she stuck her foot in the side fountain and asked if she could run through.  Maybe next time sweet girl.  I know we will be back.
