Birthday Day

Today we were lucky to get to celebrate two birthdays. We started the day off at the bowling alley celebrating Riley’s fourth birthday.

This was Lily’s first time bowling and she loved it, despite the fact that the bowling ball weighed almost as much as she did. She carried the ball herself, set it down, and pushed it on it’s way. And then, we waited and waited and waited until finally the ball made some contact with the pins. She actually won out of her little group – all skill! The shoes were too stinking cute and I might just have to get her a pair. Did I mention that we waited? Sarah Ellen wanted to play too.Happy Birthday Riley!!

After Riley’s party, we headed over to Doncie and Poppy’s to celebrate Aunt Nette’s birthday. Doncie made a lowcountry feast while, Poppy cooked fresh crabs all afternoon. We ate and ate and ate. That’s my kind of party. Unfortunately, I was too lazy to grab my camera, so I’ll have to steal some pics from Doncie’s camera.
