Paddle Board Fun at Pawley’s

Allan had a great idea and rented paddle boards for the week.  The creek was the perfect place for all of us to learn.  Mine and Caroline’s first attempt.  I started out on my knees, but as you can see I did graduate to standing.  Not being a huge fan of water sports, I was surprised how much I liked paddle boarding.   Pawley’s creeks are the perfect place for a scaredy cat like me.  Sarah Ellen, of course, was not going to be left out of the paddle board fun.   Lily, on the other hand, takes after her mamma a little too much and was not a big fan of the paddle board.  She eventually warmed up and let Daddy paddle her some, but I think she was very happy to get back on land.  Allan was recruited for many paddle board adventures. Alison is a very trusting mamma. The brave souls in the group took the boards out to the ocean.
