Weekend in Chapin

Since James was away for his annual boys weekend, the girls and I snuck up to Chapin for a visit.  The weather was beautiful and the girls could not wait to get in the water.  Once their toes hit the frigidness, though, they were content to play by the shore.

  After playing at one neighbors beach got boring, they headed over to another neighbors trampoline.  It’s a child’s dream up there.  I’m not sure who had more fun this day, Sarah Ellen or Ms. Neita.     Miss Conservative finally joined in the fun.      Lily opened her birthday presents from everyone.   They even surprised her with a fairy birthday cake.   Happy Birthday Take One   Sarah Ellen beat Lily to the candles and…   Lily wasn’t too happy about that.    Happy Birthday Take Two

We are already looking forward to a fun summer at the lake.
