Heirloom Artwork

I love decorating for Christmas for so many reasons, most of all the memories.  I know exactly where each ornament came from and can think about all the precious people and memories of my life as I put each one on the tree.  Some very special pieces to me are artwork created by Mrs. Judy Jarrett.  Growing up our family was very close to the Jarrett's and they were like family to us.  Sadly, Mr. Jarrett passed away when I was in high school.  He was such and amazing man and a great role model.  I will always be his fish bait!  Mrs. Jarrett is a very talented artist and our house was full of her paintings.   As a grown up (really) today, my house is also filled with her artwork, especially at Christmas time.
I can't believe the glass ornament from 1987 is still in one piece today!
Mrs. Jarrett gave the girls these snowman pictures one day when we visited her shop in Chapin.

This is a Santa Clause that she painted with Taryn and James painted on the wreath.
