Happy Easter

This has a wonderful Easter weekend. We started it out yesterday with yet another Easter egg hunt. A friend from James' work invited us to an Easter egg hunt and brunch at their home. We had a great time, and Lily honed her hunting skills even more. These eggs were actually hidden, and you had to be fast before the bigger kids found all the eggs. I discovered a nifty little trick, though. When Lily wasn't looking, I grabbed an egg from her basket, tossed it on the ground, and said, "look, Lily, another egg." We were able to hunt for quite a long time. Unfortunately, my camera battery died on the first shot, so I don't have any pictures from this event.

Easter morning was a lot of fun for us (the parents) this year. When we got Lily out of her crib this morning and asked her who came last night, she said, "Bunny Rabbit," then clarified with "Easter Rabbit." We headed downstairs to see what the "Easter Rabbit" brought.

Lots of new "prises"

"Do you like my new apron?"
Time to find MORE eggs.
Lily's so good at hunting eggs now, she can do it with her eyes closed.
Too easy
So much for finding them, let's eat them.

We have a pretty funny video of her eating this egg, that I will try to post later. Blogger isn't cooperating at the moment.
Lily loves to water the plants with her daddy, so the Easter Bunny brought her her own watering can.

The lighting isn't the best, but notice two feet clearing the floor. I think Lily can officially jump.

Happy Easter Margaret Anne

Enjoying breakfast at church with the Clums, Cranes, and Reindollars. The Reindollars (with children in middle and high school) were brave to join our table full of toddlers.

Our attempt at a family picture.

Mommy and Lily
After church, we joined James' family for lunch, then headed home for a relaxing afternoon together. God has richly blessed our lives, and for this I am truly thankul. May God bless each of you as well.
Happy Easter
Love, James, Taryn, Lily, and Baby Sister.
