School Easter Egg Hunt
Lily is becoming quite the Easter egg hunter. Yesterday she had another hunt at her school, and this girl gets down to business. She came out the door very excited and immediately started putting eggs in her basket. After the hunt, we had a small picnic on the playground. I really enjoyed getting to know some of the other children and mothers in her class. I am very thankful that we were able to start her in school. She still isn't overly excited about it, but is getting better with drop off and has a good time while she is there. It's amazing to see how the separation anxiety has developed over the last few weeks as a result of starting school. She screams now when we take her to church nursery, and I have yet to be able to go to the bathroom by myself in a restaurant. This just goes to show you to be careful what you wish for. I've always said that Lily is very independent and not at all a Mamma's girl. Well, now I've got my Mamma's girl now. I'm trying to appreciate it while it lasts, but it would be nice to potty by myself every now and then. I know this is yet another phase and, this too, will pass. She will once again eagerly say "bye-bye Mommy" as I am leaving.

And yes, we were still playing with our eggs at bathtime.
