Today I am 37 weeks pregnant, officially full term and officially off bed rest. I went to the MD this morning and everything is about the same. The baby looks good according to the NST results. She wants to do an ultrasound later this week to check growth, but I'm not too worried. This girl is growing.
I am so excited to have some time with Lily. A few weeks would be great, but I'll even take a few days. Hopefully, we can get back to normal for a few days before things turn completely upside down.
Lily is going through a rough little spell these days. I've given her every excuse in the book, but I have finally come to the conclusion that she is just acting two. She has had three hysterical tantrums this past week, one of which was at Juanita Greenberg's today. She's rather like a little time bomb, you never know when she is going to explode. She ate almost everything in sight at lunch, and we were really ready to go. The waiter came and took our plates away including Lily's. All that was left was lettuce (which she won't eat), but she started screaming, "I want my lettuce." She actually yelled, "Don't take my lettuce boy." Everyone got a kick out of this, and I have to admit I did chuckle a little too. She continued to scream about her lettuce all the way to the car and all the way home. This is what I got to enjoy for my first official outing. Truth be told though, I truly did enjoy being out with her, tantrum and all. I have to remind myself that she went through this a few months ago and it quickly passed. So shall this.

Sorry Lily is being two, but I certainly can relate. :) Hope to see y'all soon!
That is the funniest thing I've heard all day! I'll be sure to bring a bowl of lettuce over after our new girl makes her debut so Lily doesn't feel neglected.
