We were excited to visit with our friends, the Irvins, while they vacationed at the Isle of Palms. James and Joe were best buds in high school in Virginia, and then ventured on to The Citadel together. For those of you that don't know, freshmen at The Citadel are assigned into companies. Not only did James and Joe end up in the same company, they eventually ended up as roommates.
Not long after I began dating James, I met Joe and Stacey at a wedding. You can't help but notice how much these two are alike, mannerisms and all. I guess that is what happens when you live together for four years. The morning after the wedding, we all met up in the hotel lobby for brunch. James and Joe come down both wearing khaki shorts, a green polo, and bucks. Scary.
It has always been fun getting together with Joe and Stacey. Stacey and I love to hear all the giggles (no, not from the children, but from James and Joe). They laugh over the silliest (I thought silliest was nicer than dumbest) things.
Joe and Stacey's sweet girls are growing so fast. Ella and Erin were very good babysitters for Lily and Sarah Ellen. Thanks guys for having us out.

Lily Bean is an absolute peach!! We miss her a ton and can't wait to meet Sarah Ellen.
On a slightly more serious note...why is James wearing a Gustavus Adolphus T-shirt?? Not good. I think I need to send him some new T's.
