This Holy Saturday we invited some friends over for our annual Easter egg decorating party. We began the festivities by planting flowers to represent the everlasting life that Jesus has given to us. Then all the children gathered on the front steps for an Easter story. They actually listened despite all the eggs staring at them from the front yard. Then we let them loose for yet another egg hunt. They are all pretty good at it by now. After the hunt, and of course, some candy consumption, we began decorating eggs. Sorry for the massive amount of pictures, but there are too many cute ones not to share. You can probably tell by the quality of the shots, that my camera was hijacked. Thanks Cameron and James for the great pictures.
and they’re off…
Watch out Margaret Anne, your mom is eyeing that Reese's.
We decided we should use the same sheet each year. It will be very festive in a few years.
Such concentration
I hope Lily didn’t just take a taste.
Parker gets the best of both worlds here. Two exersaucers.
Little kids
Big kids
Even bigger kids
Lily picked off each sprinkle and ate them one by one.
