Rub a Dub Dub, Five Girls in a Tub

Caroline and I still aren’t sure what we were thinking, but the girls did have a good time.  Five squeally little girls in one tub = very loud bathroom.

No Snow Here…

Just cold rain.  But it sure did make for two cute little girls in raincoats.DSC_0091-2DSC_0096DSC_0102DSC_0110-1

Just Like The Old Days

It’s been so cold out, that we just couldn’t let Sylvester stay outside. He happily took up his old spot on Miller’s bed. Hopefully Miller likes the company, but I am not so sure.DSC_0083-2

Bubble Fun

What do you do when it’s freezing cold outside and you are sick and tired of the play room?  Take a bubble bath, of course.

Lazy Day

The day after all the festivities we enjoyed a lazy day around the Retreat Center.  In the afternoon, we ventured out in the frigid weather to visit a local winery.  Lily was so pooped, she laid in my arms almost the whole time.  I didn’t mind that one bit.   James and I brought the girls on home for an early bedtime, then everyone came back to the Retreat Center.  We ordered take-out, told more stories, and settled in for a movie (any guesses at who was the first to bed during the movie??)  This was a perfect end to a perfect weekend.

James and I were so proud of the girls.  They hung in there so well the entire time.  This was a busy trip with many changes and they didn’t miss a beat.  We barely heard any fussing on the 10 HOUR ride home on Sunday.  Go Team Weatherholtz.

DSC_0002-1Sarah Ellen loved Uncle Joel and reached for his arms every chance she got.  I was amazed that she rested in his lap for an entire 15 minutes. DSC_0013-1DSC_0014-1Poor girl was so tired.  She found this pillow and placed it on the hearth, laid down, and said night-night.DSC_0017-2One problem with having so many adults around, is you assume someone has there eye on Sarah Ellen.  We wrongly assumed this many times and thankfully she was safe and sound each time.  This time, we ran around looking for her only to find her keeping Snookie company in the kitchen.DSC_0023-1 Settling in.

Wedding Day

I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves.
