And the Party Goes On…

After dinner out, we headed back to the house to open more presents. 

Party Time

This year we had Lily’s birthday party at the newly opened Little Gym.  The children (and adults) could not stop grinning from all the fun.   This is the way to have a party.  We just showed up and they did all the activities, organizing, and clean up.

After everyone arrived, we went into the gym for some free play.   Lily braving the big beam.  Yes, I really am the tall one in my family. Aunt Nette, the professional gymnast, giving a few pointers.Parker and Sarah Ellen sticking together.  Three cuties!   

Next, the teacher gathered all the kiddos for introductions.   She was wonderful and had all the children giggling nonstop.  Notice the abundance of boys.  Lily sure will have her pick of fine young men one day. Sarah Ellen is not a believer in organized activities yet.   Lily and Porter were never far from one another.    The teacher tackling Porter after a fierce high five.Parker tackling Thomas because that’s what brothers do.  Sarah Ellen getting her high five.

Next came more free play, which meant running, running, and more running.

Next, the children took turns knocking over big slices of “birthday cake.”

Then comes the air mat.  

Time for cake! “Cake please.”"I said where is my cake?!” "Austin, don’t you be looking at my cake.”  Grandparents extraordinaire.
