This is one for the books – snow in Charleston. After a beautiful night’s snowfall, we woke up to a winter wonderland. The snow was melting fast and we couldn’t wait to head out in it. Poor Sarah Ellen – as soon as she woke up, we threw 10 layers on her and bounded out in the cold.
“Really people, I can barely walk in all these clothes and you don’t even feed me breakfast!”
“Snow, where are you.”
Sarah Ellen quickly headed back to the garage on a mission. She needed a “bucky” and a shovel.
The wax myrtle took over the garden.
The backyard.
Down the street.
Little Bug was cold.
James had to give the neighbors lessons on snowman making.
Time to thaw out.
Obviously, we took a ton of pictures – and even more video. I can’t wait to check those out. Sarah Ellen’s chatter and Lily’s wonderment were priceless. Stay tuned…

WHERE ARE THEIR BOOTS AND MITTENS!?!?! Do we need to send some down there? Lord knows we've got several pairs! That nice, wet snow is perfect for snowmen...looks like ya'll had a fabulous time enjoying it. If only we got to enjoy our snow for a day rather than 6 months...hummmmm.
Hate that we missed it. And you even got to make a snowman-we didn't even get to do that in NC!
