Easter Party 2013
New house, but old traditions. And boy did this new yard make for a super fun egg hunt. We began, as usual, with the reading of an Easter story. The only twist this year was that Lily read the book. My how we have grown! Easter Party 2008; Easter Party 2009: Easter Party 2010; Easter Party 2011

Front row: Austin, (7), Sarah Ellen (4), Olivia (4), Autumn (7), Abigail (9), Ava (4), Bailey (9), Matthew (9), Cohen (8), Back row: Ryan (6), Thomas (7), Lily (7), Parker (4), Margaret Anne (7). We missed Porter this year as he was sick but we made sure to hunt some eggs for him and save him a cupcake.
Ahhh, the paparazzi parents.

And they are off…

I love how there are eggs all over the ground yet the boys head straight out to the limbs over the water to get the hard ones first.

I thought for sure this egg had Matthew’s name written all over it,
but Abigail thought different.

Time to inspect the loot.
Abigail can hardly see in her basket over those long legs.

Now the decorating fun begins!

Here is an example of eggs decorated by boys.
And here is an example of eggs decorated by girls.

Who needs to decorate eggs when you can eat candy?
Mrs. Cameron now has fancy glitter jeans!

Sarah Ellen found the perfect spot to decorate,
and then the perfect spot to snuggle.

Daisy enjoyed the fun day out and about with everyone too.

What started out as a morning with all dressed in long sleeves and jackets ended up as an afternoon with all dressed in bathing suits playing in water filled buckets and pluff mud! Absolute perfection.
