Children’s Musuem

After researching the area before our trip, I discovered that there was a new children’s museum only a block from our hotel.  I was picturing a large museum such a The Discovery Place in Charlotte.  I have to say, I and the girls were a bit disappointed with the size and things to do at this museum.  It was smaller than our children’s museum here in Charleston.  While it was not what we expected, we did have a good time and it was a nice way to spend an afternoon.

They had a small theater where they put on live shows.  The girls really enjoyed this part.  We watched two shows and attended an exercise class.  Sarah Ellen loved performing her own acts before each show started (imagine that).
