After quite an eventful pregnancy, our little girl arrived on February 27, 2006. Lily Elizabeth Weatherholtz weighed 6'9" and was 20 1/2 inches long. I was on bedrest starting at 21 weeks pregnant with Lily due to preterm contractions. After several hospitilizations, much medicine, and many prayers, Lily stayed right where she should for 39 weeks.
After shopping all morning and packing away my maternity clothes (women's intuition), I headed out for my weekly doctor's visit. After a quick check, I was told that I was 5 cm and I better get to the hospital. James met me at the hospital and we headed in around 3:30.
Doncie and Poppy, first time grandparents, anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby girl Weatherholtz.
Aunt Kami quickly made it down from Irmo.
Mimi and Papa just barely made it down to see me before they cleared the room so I could start pushing.
Around 8:30 PM, Lily (although she didn't have a name at this time) made her debut.
