Whew, what a day. Our fun day started out with a Halloween (Pretend Day) parade at school. Each class paraded around the school to show off their costumes. Lily is the gray kitty cat in the back. We went for the hand-me-down costume this year, but Lily didn't care. She was very excited to be a kitty cat and have whiskers. Margaret Anne is the cute little purple flower.
We then went back to her classroom for a party.
After long naps, we walked down to our neighborhood park for another Halloween party.
Meet the Flinstones
Sarah Ellen with Doncie and Poppy. She was a cute little chick.
Kara and Lily waiting for the trick-or-treaters. Kara is a missionary who has been staying with our church for the past five weeks raising awareness for her non-profit organization Remember Niger. She is doing some amazing work in Africa and we were glad to have her share her experiences with us.
Normally we sit on our porch and wait for the trick-or-treaters, but that wasn't going to work this year for Lily, so we actually joined the group and went to a few houses. It didn't take Lily but two seconds to get the hang of it.
Some video of the fun:
I have one more video to upload, but google is not cooperating at the moment. Check back later.

Tell James he needs to get a little more original with his costume ideas. I mean honestly, how many times can you dress up like a relaxed lawyer???
