Dora the Explorer

Can you imagine my excitement when I got an e-mail from the Aquarium saying that Dora the Explorer is coming for a visit and members can come meet her?  Can you imagine my three year olds excitement when I told her?  Lily loves Dora.  I have even been impressed with the random bits of Spanish (Spinach) she will throw out every now and then.Killing time before the big event.  Before Dora’s arrival each child colored some Dora pictures and made their very own purple backpack.   Lily needed a little coaxing to get close to Dora and Diego.  We had to watch each child get their picture taken before could have our turn and she insisted that mommy go to.  Next, we used our maps to go on a treasure hunt through the aquarium.We had the added fun of being joined by Mills on our treasure hunt.

Now Lily wants to know when Dora is coming back.  Next time she wants to get in a picture by herself.
