After weeks of illnesses and being quarantined from our friends, I just couldn’t stand the thought of facing a few hours in the playroom this morning with the girls. So I called Caroline and asked if I could borrow Margaret Anne for the morning. It made for one fantastic morning. They headed upstairs and played quietly and sweetly for TWO HOURS. There was hardly any mess to clean up. I love these two, I could just eat them up.
They ventured into our closet to play for a while. When I peeked in on them, they were playing with James’ shoe stays. Lily sweetly looked up and said, “we are playing Karate class.” Then in true little girl fashion, it doesn’t take long before they start trying things on.
When Lily woke up from her nap, she said, “can we call Margaret Anne to come play.”
Later on in the day, Abigail joined in the fun and we were treated to another fashion show.
Love me some little girls.
