Despite illnesses and some rain we still had a fantastic week. I think I last posted about my doctor’s visit. It was amazing how fast those Z-packs work. I was feeling better by the afternoon. James’ cold also turned into a sinus infection, so he went the next day and got a Z-pack as well. We soon were both feeling better and able to finish a great week at the beach.
The following are random pictures from the week. I should put them in order, but would rather just get this posted, so please excuse the randomness.
Darn she is cute.
Did I mention we did a little rearranging for the babies room? Not too bad for a makeshift nursery. It was rather cute to see them peek around the mattress at one another. I think they came to really like having each other.
Good thing we had a doctor in the house for all our ailments.Wouldn’t you love to hear this conversation?
Sarah Ellen never sits still for us to read books, but there was just something about Mr. Trey.
Dance party.
Loads of fun in the baby pool.
Molly with her hands full.
One morning was rather overcast, so James and Molly decided to take Lily and Thomas on a kayaking adventure. They were gone most the morning and had a great time. Sarah Ellen and I went on a shopping adventure.
Nothing like a naked baby.
Hard at work. I can’t tell you how many castles were built this week.
Queen of the castle.
Mother nature provided us with the best tidal pools all week.
I think Lily and Thomas probably ran a marathon the entire week. They had a blast running up and down the beach
and exploring tidal pools.
Lily concentrates so hard.
Fun times decorating daddy. Notice the shells decorating his chest.
We were so proud of Lily going out in the water. At the beginning of the summer, she would barely put her big toe in the water. She and James went out to the breakers and she had a blast jumping the waves.
Please excuse my naked baby. By the end of the week, I just saw no reason to wrestle her into a bathing suit. She was much happier in her swim diaper, and it was one less step for us.
Best friends forever.
Let us over!!!!
Since it was raining one morning, we decided to kill some time at the mall. Well, of course, even the malls in Myrtle Beach are tourist traps. The kids immediately ran to this fun set up and the daddies were dying for them to try it. Thomas had great fun…
Lily, on the other hand, wasn’t so sure.
Notice the “not so sure” face.
Notice the “get me off” face. I was proud of her for even trying, and she got a lot further than I thought she would.
Even the mall can wear you out sometimes.
Lily airborne.
FABULOUS FOOD, FABULOUS FRIENDS, FABULOUS FUN!!
