Alamo

SeaWorld must have worn us out yesterday.  James and I slept until 9:00 and the girls slept until 10:00!!  Needless to say, we had a pretty lazy morning.  It was too cloudy to go to the pool as planned, but we weren't too sad to just be lazy and hang out.
James and I got a kick out of this truck.  These Texans are prepared anything.  That would  be a smoker attached to his trailer hitch!
We finally got our act together and headed downtown.  I was determined to see the Alamo.  We saw it.  It is right smack dab in the middle of the city.
Just smelling the roses...
After a photo op in front of the Alamo, we ventured down to the Riverwalk.  This was a neat area but a bit crowded and stuffy.  It didn't help that DADDY got us lost several times.  James and I decided we could never do the Amazing Race together (not that we have any desire to).  We both are challenged with directions and we both get fussy and defensive when lost.
We found a good restaurant thanks to Yelp.  It was delicious.  After that we were pretty much done with downtown.  We just aren't city folk!

James took the girls down to the pool while I packed up some.

Tomorrow we will head out to Amarillo.
