Our planned activity for the morning was the ropes course. Hmmm - Weatherholtz - ropes course - zip line- hmmm. I was actually excited about trying it and being adventurous. That was until I realized that once you did the rope obstacles, the only way down was the zip line. What??? Lily and Daddy were ready. SE and I - well, sort of, maybe, kinda ready. SE was very worried about the zip line. We could tell she so wanted to but was terrified at the same time.

Lily and Daddy set out first. I can't even tell you how proud I am of this girl.
Next up - Mommy and Sarah Ellen. Yep - that's me up there - way up high - living dangerously - being daring - WAY out of my box! Little Buggy was so determined - terrified, but determined. When we made it past our first two ropes obstacles, we were stuck. And by stuck I mean not gonna attempt the third obstacle. Sarah Ellen decided that she did want to zip line so a girl came out and piggy backed her across the third obstacle. As we waited, she was terrified but said in the most pitiful quivering voice, "I do want to zip line." Mommy and Lily decided that we did not want to zip line (surprise), so we went back through the ropes and raced down to get pictures of Daddy and SE zip lining!!!
She did it and loved it!!! So proud of her. The sweetest part was how proud Lily was of her. Love these babies.
This was a big morning for us Weatherholtz girls. After lunch, Daddy headed out for a whitewater rafting trip. The girls and I had had enough adventure for the day. We played at the pool, did laundry, played card games, went shopping, and got ice cream.
She is ready for more zip lining! |
How often do you get to swim outdoors with a view of snow? |
My favorite quote of the day came from myself regarding the dry air. "My skin is cracking and my nose is bleeding, but my hair looks great!"
