Off Roadin'

Today was a big day.  We started off with an early morning jeep tour.  Our family was in the "silver cloud."  It started off easy enough: smooth roads to dirt roads to rocky roads.  Rocky roads with steep cliffs.
We stopped at an old ghost town to eat breakfast and then to feed the chipmunks.  Yep, the chipmunks.
Did I mention rocky roads with steep cliffs?
We joined the rest of our camp at Frontier, another Young Life camp nearby.  We enjoyed their huge pool and water slide.

Once we were back at Trail West we took Sarah Ellen on a pony ride.
She rode on Cheese of Mac and Cheese
After that we went on a hike.  Lily was saved when her friend's parents were coming down the mountain and asked her to go with them.  SE wanted to keep going with us and work on her dandelion collection.  Despite the first picture below, she was a great little hiker.

After dinner we gathered for skits, silly music and fun.  Much to Daddy's dismay he was picked to sing a verse in the old Hee Haw song, "I Searched the World Over."  He rocked it!
