Taking It Easy

Today was supposed to be very rainy so we planned to have a take-it-easy day.  James took the girls to the pool while I headed back to the shopping area.  My main goal was to find a bathing suit.  Can you think of a worse goal to try to accomplish on vacation?  I must have tried 532 bathing suits and these stupid mirrors in San Antonio just make them all look bad.  After three hours, I left with a pair of new shoes for Lily.
When I got back, the girls were watching a movie and James was reading the newspaper.  James made an appointment for a massage (he claims for his tight shoulder muscle).  I finally read my book for a solid chunk of time.  The girls and I went down to check out the awesome children's area.  They had a room set up with just about everything a kid could want.  They played while I read some more.

We ventured back to The Rim area for dinner.  We tried Tiago's Cabo Grill for some authentic Tex Mex food.  It was decent but I don't think we found what we were looking for.
The sad face is because they miss Daisy.  Mrs. Kristi posted pictures on Facebook of Mr. Henry loving on Daisy.
After dinner we walked next door to the Bass Pro Shop.  This was no "shop."  This place was huge.  We had fun exploring.  And guess what?  I found a bathing suit!!
When we got home, it was too late for a game.  The girls read in bed for a bit and drifted off.  One of the wonderful things about this time is the lack of schedule.  We don't feel rushed to get them home and in bed.  They have been sleeping in and are doing well with NO schedule.  Who would have thought I would love having NO schedule???

This time for our family has been such a blessing that we will always cherish.
